Ying Kang joined as assistant vice president of finance effective Aug. 13, 2026. Kang will take full oversight of the finance department starting Aug. 21, reporting to the CEO. He has nearly 20 years’ experience, including senior SOX project manager roles and internal audit posts at US-listed companies.

CFO transition and new operating role

UTStarcom CFO Dan Xie will step down effective Aug. 21, 2026. He will shift to vice president, overseeing India and Japan operations.
