VA selects Clear Secure for pilot to verify veterans signing in to VA.gov
YOU•The Department of Veterans Affairs selected Clear Secure’s CLEAR1 identity platform for a pilot supporting VA.gov account creation and sign-in, with optional selfie-based biometric login. Clear said it is also under contract with CMS to modernize identity verification on Medicare.gov.
1. VA.gov identity pilot
Clear Secure integrated its CLEAR1 identity platform into a VA pilot for account creation and sign-in. The pilot offers optional biometric login via selfie after a one-time setup, with enrollment online or in person at select VA facilities. Clear said it is also under contract with CMS to modernize identity verification on Medicare.gov.
