VAALCO Energy brings ETBNM-3 gas-supply well online offshore Gabon

VAALCO Energy drilled and brought onstream the ETBNM-3 gas-supply well offshore Gabon from the Dentale D-15 reservoir.

• The well is expected to cut operating costs by displacing diesel use for power, liftings, and field operations; it is not expected to lift sales directly.
• Drilling moved to the SEENT platform on July 27 to start the ETSEM-3PH pilot and development well targeting a horizontal Gamba producer.
• The pilot hole is designed to test the original oil-water contact at SE Etame, with an assessment of potential in the underlying Dentale formation.
