Vail Resorts Cuts Epic Pass Prices 20% for Gen Z, Sets $869 and $649 Rates

Vail Resorts is offering 13-to-30-year-olds a 20% discount on its 2026/27 Epic Pass lineup, cutting prices to $869 for the full Epic Pass and $649 for the Epic Local Pass. Early buyers get ten half-price Epic Friend Tickets and recent lift ticket visitors can save up to $175 on next season’s passes.

1. New Gen Z Pricing

Skiers and riders aged 13–30 can purchase the 2026/27 Epic Pass at a 20% discount, reducing the Epic Pass price to $869 and the Epic Local Pass to $649, with both products available at the lowest price of the year.

2. Epic Friend Tickets

Early season-long Epic Pass purchasers receive ten half-price Epic Friend Tickets, providing 50% off lift tickets for friends and 25% off child tickets, designed to encourage social experiences and broaden group visitation across the resort network.

3. Lift Ticket Visitor Savings

Guests who bought lift tickets at any of Vail Resorts’ 37 North American destinations during the 2025/26 season are eligible for up to $175 off select 2026/27 Epic Passes, lowering junior pass rates to as little as $694 for full Epic and $474 for Epic Local.

4. On-Mountain Dining and Resort Access

Epic Pass holders receive a 20% discount on on-mountain dining at participating venues and gain season-long access to premier resorts including Vail, Whistler Blackcomb, Park City, Breckenridge, Heavenly, Stowe and more, enhancing the overall value proposition.
