Vale board puts Stieler removal, chair election to July 22 shareholder vote

Vale’s board on June 19, 2026, called an extraordinary shareholder meeting for July 22, 2026, following a request from Previ.
The meeting agenda includes a proposal to remove chairman Daniel André Stieler from the board.
Board seat and chair election on the ballot
Shareholders will also vote on filling a board seat, with the board putting forward Ieda Gomes Yell as its preferred candidate.
If Stieler is removed, the meeting will elect a new chair, with Marcelo Gasparino da Silva and Manuel Lino Silva de Sousa Oliveira on the ballot.
