Vale, CSN among winners in Brazil natural gas auction
VALE•Vale, CSN and other industrial companies won all 32 lots in a Brazilian state-run natural gas auction, totaling 320,000 cubic meters per day. It was PPSA’s first auction for direct sales of state-owned natural gas to end consumers.
1. Auction winners
Vale, CSN, Gerdau, Samarco and Ternium Brasil were among the winners in the auction held by Brazilian state-run oil firm PPSA. All 32 lots offered to steelmakers, metal producers and mining companies were awarded, totaling 320,000 cubic meters per day. It was PPSA’s first auction for direct sales of state-owned natural gas to end consumers.
