Vale releases investor presentation outlining strategy, iron ore and base metals operations

For the iron ore business in 2025, Vale projected pro forma EBITDA of USD 14 billion, capex of USD 3.9 billion, and C1 cash cost of USD 21.3 per tonne.
For base metals, the company projected pro forma EBITDA of USD 3.4 billion and capex of USD 1.6 billion, with realized prices of USD 9,763 per tonne for copper and USD 15,556 per tonne for nickel.
Balance sheet and shareholder returns
Vale said expanded net debt was USD 15.6 billion at Dec. 31, 2025, and dividends and interest on equity paid totaled USD 3.6 billion.

Vale outlined its 2025 scale: 336 million tonnes of iron ore output, 31 million tonnes of pellets, 382,000 tonnes of copper, and 177,000 tonnes of nickel.
