Valens Semiconductor collaborates with onsemi on cost-optimized MIPI A-PHY 3MP automotive camera sensor

Valens Semiconductor entered a collaboration with onsemi to develop a cost-optimized MIPI A-PHY integrated sensor for 3MP automotive cameras.

The project targets high-volume vehicle programs, aiming to speed OEM and Tier 1 adoption of the A-PHY connectivity standard.

Work will focus on integrating Valens’ A-PHY technology into onsemi image sensors to reduce component count in camera architectures.
