1. Valvoline Instant Oil Change Raises Record $1.8 Million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Valvoline Inc. and participating franchise locations of Valvoline Instant Oil Change and Great Canadian Oil Change achieved a new fundraising milestone in 2026, collecting more than $1.8 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This represents a nearly 40% increase over the $1.3 million raised in 2025. Funds were generated through customer donations at service bays, corporate-led events such as charity runs and employee giving campaigns, and contributions from Valvoline Instant’s own charitable fund. The top five markets—Lexington, Louisville, Toronto, Nashville and Indianapolis—each contributed over $100,000, reflecting strong community engagement and consistent execution of in–store donation prompts during preventive maintenance visits.

2. Durable Demand Drivers and Attractive Valuation Underpin Buy Recommendation

Analysts maintain a buy rating on Valvoline based on its recession-resilient, recurring maintenance revenue and an undervalued multiple versus peer quick-lube operators. The company has delivered 19 consecutive years of positive same-store sales growth, including during the 2008–2009 downturn and the pandemic period. Growth initiatives such as expansion of the SuperPro automated fleet service platform have increased throughput by 15% at pilot sites, while driving higher add-on penetration for fluid recycling and vehicle inspections. At current valuation levels, the enterprise multiple trades at roughly 10x EBITDA, below the 12–14x range of comparable service chains, offering a margin of safety as VVV scales its franchise footprint to more than 1,900 locations in North America.
