Vance: 'We believe Fed should lower rates'

U.S. Vice President JD Vance on Thursday said the White House believes the Federal Reserve should lower interest rates, arguing that inflation data is worthy of a rate cut.

Speaking from the White House briefing room, Vance said the Trump administration was "doing a lot of things to try to keep those interest rates down. But it would be nice to have some help from the Federal Reserve."
