Vaxart appoints retired Vice Admiral Raquel C. Bono to board
VXRT•Vaxart appointed retired U.S. Navy Vice Admiral Raquel C. Bono to its board, where she will chair the Stockholder Engagement Committee and join two other committees.
1. Board appointment
Bono will chair the Stockholder Engagement Committee and join the Nominating and Governance Committee and Clinical and Regulatory Affairs Committee. A board-certified trauma surgeon, she previously served as director of the Defense Health Agency. The appointment follows a July 2026 cooperation agreement with a group of stockholders.
