VCI Global Adds Tether, CMCC Titan Investors; V Gallant to Acquire 241,000-Hectare Carbon Platform
VCIG•VCI Global added Tether Investment, CMCC Titan Fund and 468 Global Opportunities to its institutional shareholder base, highlighting its position in AI infrastructure. Its subsidiary V Gallant agreed to acquire controlling rights over 241,000 hectares of Indonesian forestry to build a carbon-credit platform targeting millions of credits at $10–$50+ each.
1. Shareholder Base Expansion
VCI Global added institutional investors Tether Investment S.A. de C.V., CMCC Titan Fund L.P. and 468 Global Opportunities GmbH & Co. KG to its shareholder roster. Tether Investment links to the issuer of the world’s largest stablecoin, CMCC Titan focuses on blockchain and digital assets, and 468 Global is a technology investment platform, reinforcing VCI’s presence at the intersection of AI infrastructure, digital assets and capital markets.
2. Forestry Asset Acquisition
VCI Global’s subsidiary V Gallant signed a definitive agreement to acquire controlling rights over PT Fine Carbon Credit Indonesia’s 241,000 hectares of forestry assets across four Indonesian projects. The platform aims to support issuance of millions of voluntary carbon credits priced between $10 and $50+ per unit, with plans for ecosystem monetization via spin-offs and strategic transactions.
