Velo3D opened Forge 1, a nearly 289,000-square-foot metal additive manufacturing production campus in Livermore, California.
Production capacity and site capabilities
About 270,000 square feet is dedicated to production, designed to support more than 40 large-format systems with expansion capacity beyond 100.
Combined with its Fremont headquarters, the company targets up to 125 systems across both sites.
The facility adds machine assembly, production-scale printing, post-processing, inspection, quality assurance and customer acceptance under one roof.
