Vera Bradley up after beating quarterly estimates

The company reports second-quarter net revenue of $71.6 million, beating analysts' estimates of $66 million compiled by LSEG. It swings to profit, with quarterly adjusted EPS coming in at 11 cents, boosted by a $7.7 million tariff refund, compared with a 2-cent loss last year and expectations of an 8-cent loss.
The company says growth in its direct-to-consumer business, driven by stronger online conversion, higher transaction values and back-to-school demand, helped results. Vera Bradley reiterates its FY27 sales and operating margin guidance.
Up to the last close, the stock is up about 26% year to date.
