Veraxa Biotech Engages ATUM’s Leap-In Transposase for BiTAC-TCE Cell Line Development
VRXA•Veraxa Biotech has contracted ATUM to generate stable clonal cell lines using its Leap-In Transposase® technology for Veraxa’s lead BiTAC-TCE program, marking a critical step toward IND/CTA-enabling activities. The collaboration aims to support CMC development and supply material for nonclinical studies.
1. Collaboration Details
Veraxa Biotech has initiated cell line development for its lead BiTAC-TCE program by engaging ATUM to generate stable clonal cell lines. This partnership leverages ATUM’s expertise to support IND/CTA-enabling activities and streamline future clinical development.
2. Leap-In Transposase Technology
ATUM’s proprietary Leap-In Transposase® technology enables efficient, stable integration of multi-chain formats, ensuring balanced expression critical for BiTAC-TCE functionality. The platform has supported stable cell lines in over 50 IND submissions, underscoring its reliability.
3. Path to Clinical Development
Stable clonal cell lines will underpin Veraxa’s CMC workflow, including early process, analytical, and formulation development, and provide material for nonclinical studies. Achieving this milestone advances the lead BiTAC-TCE candidate toward potential IND filing and subsequent clinical trials.
