Verde Resources outlined a strategy to turn road infrastructure into long-term carbon storage assets that could generate verified carbon removal credits. A 10-year agreement with Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, signed in July 2026, targets U.S. commercialization, with potential revenue from materials, royalties and credits.
An April 2025 asphalt pilot generated eight carbon removal credits through Puro.earth. A newly published, independently verified Environmental Product Declaration supports lifecycle accounting for engineered biochar but does not certify carbon removal credits. A collaboration with Isometric, announced in April 2026, aims to advance certification and commercialization of infrastructure-based carbon removals.
