1. Loss and fund flows
Vermilion Energy reported a Q3 2026 net loss of CAD 34.64 million, versus earnings of CAD 2.56 million a year earlier. Unrealized derivative losses totaled CAD 245.2 million, primarily reflecting European natural gas hedges as commodity prices rose. Fund flows from operations fell 7% to CAD 236.92 million as realized hedging losses offset stronger commodity prices.
2. Production and regions
Production declined 1% to 117,349 boe/d, reflecting asset dispositions, planned maintenance and cyclone-related downtime, partly offset by Canadian drilling and German growth. Higher international prices lifted regional fund flows from continuing operations 31% to CAD 190.1 million despite lower sales volumes and higher costs.
