Vertex Pharmaceuticals up after raising 2026 revenue forecast

Vertex Pharmaceuticals raised its 2026 revenue forecast to between $13.15 billion and $13.25 billion, from its previous range of $13.1 billion to $13.2 billion. Third-quarter revenue was $3.44 billion, compared with analysts' estimate of $3.42 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
2. Profit and FDA decision
The company reported third-quarter adjusted profit of $4.76 per share, below the average estimate of $4.79. BMO said a clean quarter clears the path to the FDA's November 30 decision on Vertex's povetacicept for IgA nephropathy.
