Vertical Aerospace names former Leonardo Helicopters US CEO Clyde Woltman to board
EVTL•Vertical Aerospace appointed Clyde M. Woltman to its board, effective Oct. 5, 2026. Directors Carsten Stendevad and James Keith Brown will resign on the same date.
1. Board changes
Woltman previously led Leonardo Helicopters US as CEO, running a $1 billion business across the Americas. He also held senior roles at Aerojet Rocketdyne and Pratt & Whitney, including work on the F-35’s F135 propulsion program.
