Vertiv Unveils Next Predict AI Service with Anomaly Detection for Data Centers
Vertiv launched Vertiv Next Predict, an AI-powered service using anomaly detection and prescriptive maintenance across power, cooling and IT systems to preempt data center equipment failures. It will report Q4 and full-year 2025 results before open on Feb. 11, 2026, and hold its Investor Conference May 19-20 in Greenville, SC.
1. Vertiv Introduces AI-Powered Predictive Maintenance Service
On January 22, 2026, Vertiv unveiled Vertiv™ Next Predict, an AI-driven managed service designed to revolutionize data center maintenance. The solution applies advanced machine learning models and anomaly detection to monitor power, cooling and IT assets continuously, identifying deviations from normal operating behavior up to 30 days before potential failure. In initial deployments across five Tier 1 hyperscale data centers, Vertiv reports a 25% reduction in unplanned downtime events and a 15% decrease in maintenance costs during the first quarter of service. The offering currently supports more than ten Vertiv platforms, including battery energy storage systems and liquid cooling modules, and is architected for seamless integration with next-generation rack-level and chip-level infrastructure as customers expand their AI workloads.
2. Overseas Momentum Boosts Backlog to $9.5 Billion
Vertiv’s international expansion strategy has accelerated in recent quarters, driven by strong demand for AI-optimized infrastructure in Asia Pacific and Europe. As of December 31, 2025, the company reported a total order backlog of $9.5 billion, up 18% year-over-year, with international bookings accounting for 60% of the total. Organic growth in these regions remains in the mid-teens percentage range, supported by multi-site deployments from cloud service providers and telecommunications operators replacing legacy UPS and thermal management systems. Management forecasts that overseas sales will contribute more than half of consolidated revenue by fiscal 2027, underpinning continued double-digit top-line growth.
3. Key Dates for Investors in Early 2026
Vertiv will release its fourth quarter and full year 2025 financial results before the market opens on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, followed by a conference call at 11 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss performance trends, including service attach rates and margin expansion. Additionally, the company will host its 2026 Investor Conference on May 19–20 in Greenville, South Carolina. The two-day event will feature presentations on strategic initiatives such as Vertiv™ OneCore prefabricated data centers, SmartRun modular IT infrastructure, and the evolving AI solutions portfolio, alongside guided tours of a state-of-the-art infrastructure solutions facility.
