Viant Technology slides on secondary offering by co-founders

Irvine, California-based Viant late Wednesday kicked off an 8.5 million-share offering by an existing stockholder.
The seller is major holder Capital V LLC, an entity tied to Viant co-founders and brothers Tim, Chris and Russ Vanderhook, according to the offering prospectus.
Evercore, Wells Fargo, RBC and Craig-Hallum are joint bookrunners.
Viant, which has about 66.5 million shares outstanding, went public in its Feb. 2021 IPO at $25.
With Thursday's move, DSP was down about 14.5% year to date.
All 11 analysts covering the stock are bullish, with a median price target of $19, according to LSEG data.
Shares fall after co-founders' affiliated seller launches offering
Advertising tech firm Viant Technology's DSP.O shares were last down 16.7% to $10.31 after touching about a four-month low early in the session on Thursday following the launch of a secondary offering.
The stock was on course for its biggest one-day percentage fall since Aug. 12, 2025.
