Viasat and PGZ explore satellite communications cooperation

Viasat signed a letter of intent with Poland’s state-owned defense group PGZ to explore cooperation in satellite communications and space capabilities.

Work will assess potential collaboration on military SATCOM systems, including ground antennas, terminals, and communications satellites, to support Polish defense needs.

The agreement was signed in Warsaw on Sept. 16, 2026, positioning Viasat for deeper participation in the military SATCOM market.
