Viavi has enhanced its cloud-based XEdge edge monitoring and assurance platform with two new sensor variants to support private 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi networks. XEdge v2, a portable, multi-carrier unit, supports up to four cellular modems for high-capacity data collection during continuous monitoring, walk tests and drive tests. XEdge Lite, a compact fixed-installation sensor available in standard and IP67-rated enclosures, supports a single modem for always-on monitoring in harsh indoor and outdoor environments.
