Viavi T/Rx transceiver wins selection by U.S. Army TSMO for test range modernization

Viavi’s T/Rx software-defined transceiver was selected by the U.S. Army Threat Systems Management Office for a test-range modernization effort.

1. Army range modernization

The transceiver will provide electromagnetic-spectrum monitoring, recording, analysis and transmission to support realistic testing in contested environments. Deployment targets Army ranges opened to private industry for drone, counter-drone and interceptor development under the Test Range Private Industry Initiative.
