Village Farms named Deepak Anand vice president of government affairs in a newly created role.
Anand will lead government relations, regulatory affairs and public policy strategy across the company’s global operations.
He will report to Chief Strategy Officer Brian Stevenson, with a mandate tied to new market and product growth opportunities.
