VFS•VinFast delivered 58,577 electric vehicles in Q1 2026, a 61% year-over-year increase, and expanded its global network to 447 showrooms. It shipped 143,136 e-scooters and e-bikes, up 219% annually, and launched the U.S. VF 8 Eco at a $39,900 MSRP with 0% APR financing.
1. Strong Q1 Electric Vehicle Growth
In the first quarter of 2026, VinFast delivered 58,577 electric vehicles worldwide, a 61% increase versus Q1 2025, with international markets representing 8% of total deliveries. The company retained its position as Vietnam’s leading automotive OEM and ranked as the top BEV brand in the Philippines, fourth in India and eighth in Indonesia.
2. Mobility Ecosystem Expansion
Beyond passenger cars, VinFast shipped 143,136 electric scooters and e-bikes in Q1, marking a 219% annual rise and addressing urban transport needs. The firm also grew its retail footprint to 447 showrooms globally, enhancing access to vehicles, service and charging infrastructure.
3. U.S. VF 8 Eco Launch and Financing
VinFast introduced the VF 8 Eco in the U.S. market with a starting MSRP of $39,900, backed by 0% APR financing for up to 84 months and competitive lease programs. It supports ownership with a 10-year or 125,000-mile warranty and access to roughly 95% of U.S. public charging stations.
4. Autonomous Driving Initiative
In June 2026, VinFast partnered with NVIDIA and Autobrains to develop a Level 4 autonomous driving program tailored for Southeast Asian traffic conditions on the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion platform, aiming to advance safety and connectivity in emerging markets.
