VinFast Unveils CPO Program with Transferable 10-Year Warranty in Nine States
VFS•VinFast has launched a Certified Pre-Owned program in nine U.S. states for VF 8 and VF 9 electric SUVs, offering vehicles through authorized dealerships. Each car passes a 105-point inspection and carries a transferable 10-year/125,000-mile vehicle warranty plus a 10-year unlimited-mile battery warranty.
1. Program Launch and Scope
VinFast has officially launched its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program in the United States, targeting VF 8 and VF 9 electric SUVs. The program aims to expand premium EV access through a network of authorized dealerships in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland and Texas.
2. Inspection and Certification
Every CPO vehicle undergoes a rigorous 105-point inspection performed by factory-trained technicians. The process includes mechanical, electrical and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems checks, as well as a thorough battery health evaluation to ensure long-term durability and driving range.
3. Warranty and After-Sales Support
Certified vehicles carry the balance of a 10-Year/125,000-Mile new vehicle limited warranty and a 10-Year unlimited-mile battery warranty, both fully transferable. Owners also benefit from 24/7 roadside assistance, emergency rescue, towing services and access to over 250,000 public charging stations via the VinFast companion app.

The CPO initiative reinforces VinFast’s customer-centric approach and supports stronger residual values for existing owners while offering secondary buyers an attractive entry point into the luxury EV segment.
