Visa announced the launch of its Flexible Credential solution on Zilch buy-now-pay-later cards in the UK, enabling real-time switching between multiple tokenization schemes to reduce authentication friction and support issuer-specific tokens.

The rollout integrates the Visa Cloud Token Service with Zilch’s card platform, allowing the program to dynamically select the optimal credential management path based on transaction context, improving authorization success rates and strengthening security.

This deployment marks Visa’s first Flexible Credential rollout in the BNPL sector, positioning the company to expand tokenization services across emerging fintech partners and potentially drive incremental tokenization fee revenue.
