Visa and Ramp have renewed a multi-year issuing agreement to deploy agentic AI through Visa Intelligent Commerce and the Visa Trusted Agent Protocol. This integration will automate corporate bill-pay workflows, enforce real-time spending controls and reduce manual tasks for over 50,000 business customers globally.
2. FTC Probes Debanking Practices at Visa
The FTC issued warning letters to Visa seeking information on account terminations, risk assessment processes and communication procedures related to debanking. Regulators aim to understand whether automated systems or third-party data influence exclusions and to ensure transparency and fair access to digital payment services.
