Visa has deployed a validator node on the Tempo blockchain network, enabling it to validate and record decentralized transactions directly on the ledger. This move strengthens the network’s security, accelerates transaction finality for crypto payments and signals Visa’s expanded role in blockchain infrastructure.

Visa partnered with French insurtech Neat to offer AI-driven, customizable insurance and assistance functions integrated with Visa cards. The rollout begins in France, covering over 25 million cardholders under Visa’s existing insurance program, with staged expansion planned across other European markets.
