VisionWave outlines R&D programs for TALON tactical UAVs, counter-UAS concepts
VWAV•VisionWave outlined R&D plans for an autonomous defense ecosystem spanning tactical UAVs, counter-UAS, sensors, ground platforms and command software. Its programs are not in production or commercially available, and no government awards or agreement for a potential European interceptor trial were reported.
1. Programs remain in development
VisionWave said its aerial programs under development include intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, logistics, strike variants and payload-release concepts. The company is also developing an architecture intended to coordinate air-ground operations through a shared mission picture and operator control layer; it has submitted proposals to U.S. government solicitations and cited preliminary talks with a European defense ministry about a potential interceptor trial, with no agreement reached.
