Vistra Named Preferred Power Provider for KKR’s $10B Helix AI Infrastructure
VST•Vistra will serve as preferred power provider for KKR’s Helix Digital Infrastructure venture, backed by over $10 billion in committed capital alongside Nvidia and Kuwait Investment Authority. Utilizing its 18-state network and 5,000 MW of existing PPAs, Vistra will supply baseload and flexible power for AI data centers.

KKR has launched Helix Digital Infrastructure, a new company with more than $10 billion in committed capital to integrate data center, power generation, connectivity and related services for AI hyperscalers.
2. Vistra’s Role as Power Provider
Vistra, operating across 18 states and Washington, D.C., joins Helix as preferred power provider, bringing over 5,000 MW of existing power purchase agreements to supply baseload and flexible generation to AI data centers.

Nvidia and Kuwait Investment Authority join as founding investors alongside Vistra and KKR. Nvidia will support deployment of DSX AI factory-aligned infrastructure while Vistra secures long-term power contracts.
