SINGAPORE, Sept 8 (Reuters) - The chief executive of Vitol, the world's largest independent oil trader by volume, expects global oil demand to fall by 1.5 million barrels per day (bpd) in 2026 versus 2025.
The gap between China's crude imports in 2025 and 2026 at 5 million to 6 million bpd is also unsustainable, Russell Hardy added.
