
Vivakor and Monarch R&P formed a joint venture to complete commissioning and launch commercial operations at a Houston-area Remediation Processing Center in Q3 2026, expanding the company’s remediation platform. The firm also secured a one-year Cushing Terminal deal for 100,000 barrels monthly, worth roughly $108 million annualized.
Vivakor and Monarch R&P Management created Monarch Remediation & Processing I, LLC to complete commissioning and launch operations at a Houston-area Remediation Processing Center and ancillary wash plant. The joint venture combines Vivakor’s remediation technology and logistics capabilities with Monarch’s local waste management and environmental services expertise.
The Harris County facility is moving from project development and construction toward operational readiness, with commercial service expected in the third quarter of 2026. Vivakor anticipates the new center will integrate seamlessly with its existing transportation, storage, terminaling and environmental processing platform.
Vivakor secured a one-year crude oil arrangement through its Cushing Terminal, moving 100,000 barrels per month under long-term contracts valued at approximately $108 million annualized. This transaction aims to bolster cash flow and optimize utilization of the company’s terminal infrastructure.
