VivoPower signed an agreement with Open Innovation AI to develop secure sovereign AI data centers across Europe, the GCC and selected Asian countries. The partners target at least 1GW of capacity over the next three years, citing a European opportunity exceeding 40GW.
2. Roles and deployment
VivoPower will handle site development, power procurement and facility operations, while Open Innovation AI will provide orchestration, AI operations and security. Initial software deployment will cover VivoPower’s existing portfolio and Nordic pipeline; individual projects require separate agreements.
