VNET Group has appointed Peter Zhihua Zhang as Senior Vice President, Operational Finance, effective immediately. He will also serve as the company’s principal accounting officer under U.S. federal securities laws.

In his new role, Zhang is authorized to review and approve VNET’s financial statements and related SEC and Nasdaq filings, overseeing all financial operations. He will ensure compliance with federal regulations and Nasdaq listing requirements.

Zhang joined VNET in October 2019, spearheading accounting, taxation, compliance, domestic debt financing initiatives and a strategic Microsoft partnership. His prior roles include CFO at a TMT enterprise, finance director at Anta Group, and finance positions at Lenovo and TDK.
