Volaris January ASM Up 4.3%, RPMs Up 2.1%, Load Factor Down to 84.8%
Volaris’ Available Seat Miles climbed 4.3% year-over-year in January while Revenue Passenger Miles rose 2.1%, transporting 2.7 million passengers. However, consolidated load factor fell 1.8 percentage points to 84.8% as domestic RPMs dipped 1.1% and international RPMs rose 6.7%.

In January 2026, Volaris reported a 4.3% increase in ASMs to 3.21 billion and a 2.1% rise in RPMs to 2.72 billion, carrying 2.7 million passengers. Total passengers rose 4.7% year-over-year, with domestic volumes up 3.6% and international volumes up 7.5%.
2. Domestic and International Performance
Domestic RPMs decreased 1.1% to 1.54 billion while domestic ASMs slipped 0.8%, resulting in an 87.6% load factor down 0.2 percentage points. International capacity expanded 11.2% to 1.45 billion ASMs and RPMs grew 6.7% to 1.18 billion, driving an 81.5% load factor down 3.4 points.
