Volaris Load Factor Rises 2.9pp to 84.6% as RPMs Grow 1.6%

In April, Volaris’ available seat miles fell 1.9% while revenue passenger miles rose 1.6%, lifting total load factor by 2.9 percentage points to 84.6%. The carrier flew 2.7 million passengers, with international RPMs climbing 8.9% as domestic RPMs dipped 2.7%.

1. Capacity and Traffic Volumes

In April, Volaris operated 3.037 billion ASMs, down 1.9% year-over-year, while RPMs increased to 2.568 billion, up 1.6%. International RPMs rose 8.9% to 1.015 billion, offsetting a 2.7% decline in domestic RPMs to 1.553 billion.

2. Load Factor and Passenger Traffic

Consolidated load factor climbed 2.9 percentage points to 84.6%, with domestic load at 89.3% and international at 78.2%. Total passengers reached 2.698 million, up 3.1%, including a 6.9% increase in international and 1.8% rise in domestic traffic.
