Voya backs SEC shift toward default electronic delivery of investor disclosures
VOYA•Voya backed the SEC’s proposal to modernize electronic delivery of required investor disclosures, urging a faster transition from paper and more flexibility in delivery methods.
1. Voya’s recommendations
In a comment letter, Voya urged the SEC to use one transition notice and scrap or shorten the proposed 180-day wait. It also called for broader use of disclosed electronic addresses, secure portals instead of direct document links, and clearer rules for failed deliveries, including redirects to a valid secondary address.
