Voya warns shareholders to ignore TCIM-promoted private straw poll
VOYA•Voya Financial said a private straw poll promoted by TOMS Capital Investment Management and affiliates is not company-sponsored or tied to a shareholder vote requiring investor response.
1. Poll not company-sponsored
Voya said the poll materials include inaccurate or misleading statements, including reproduced reports it called outright falsehoods. At its annual meeting four months ago, directors and say-on-pay each received more than 98% support; the next annual meeting is expected in May 2027.
