Voyager Therapeutics Q3 collaboration revenue drops, net loss narrows
VYGR•Voyager Therapeutics reported Q3 collaboration revenue of $4.01 million and a net loss of $24.69 million. It ended the quarter with $132 million in cash and expects its runway to extend into Q2 2028.
1. Quarterly results
Voyager said lower collaboration revenue was mainly due to reduced revenue from its Neurocrine agreement as activities moved beyond the research phase. Its net loss narrowed from a year earlier as research and development and administrative costs fell, reflecting lower clinical and manufacturing costs, program prioritization, and lower employee-related and consulting costs.
2. Pipeline and cash
The company ended Q3 with $132 million in cash and expects its runway to extend into Q2 2028. Voyager expects VY7523 PET imaging efficacy data in Q4 2026 and anticipates dosing the first VY1706 patient in the next few months, pending enrollment. Its Neurocrine-partnered Friedreich’s ataxia gene therapy program is expected to enter the clinic in coming months.
