Wabtec signed a long-term rail services agreement worth more than with La Compagnie du TransGuinéen in Guinea.
$700 million
The deal supports CTG’s new Evolution Series locomotive fleet for the Simandou iron ore rail corridor linking the mine to the Port of Morebaya.
The contract is Wabtec’s largest services agreement in Africa; combined with 2024 locomotive orders, total Simandou value exceeds $1.2 billion.
