W.Africa Crude - Differentials stable as traders mull supply disruptions elsewhere
XLE•Differentials hold steady
LONDON, July 30 (Reuters) - West African crude oil differentials held steady on Thursday as market participants continued to mull global crude oil supply disruptions.
- Physical crude oil markets had tightened in recent sessions, a trader said on Thursday.
- Market participants are assessing disruptions to oil supplies in the Middle East and Black Sea linked to the Iran and Ukraine wars, and their impact on grades in other regions.
- Last week traders said the West African market was in wait-and-see mode, but that sellers were beginning to lift offer levels.
- Despite the tightening, two traders told Reuters this week that there remained a lot of unsold Nigerian cargoes.
Nigeria September loading schedules
Nigerian loading schedules for September continued to surface. Akpo will load one new cargo in September, in addition to an August cargo that will be carried over into the next month.
Nigerian Egina will load one cargo on September 19-20, according to that grade's loading schedule.
