1. Walmart Opens Milk Processing Facility

On April 29, Walmart inaugurated a 300,000-square-foot milk processing center in Robinson, Texas, with a $350 million investment and 400 new jobs. The facility marks the company’s third owned-and-operated milk plant.

2. Production and Bottling Capabilities

The center is equipped to process and bottle gallon, half-gallon, whole, 2%, 1%, skim and 1% chocolate milk, producing Great Value and Member’s Mark branded products to meet diverse customer preferences.

3. Distribution Across South-Central U.S.

This plant will supply milk to more than 650 Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas, reducing transit times and increasing on-shelf freshness in the region.
