Second-quarter profit declines slightly

MEXICO CITY, July 22 (Reuters) - Walmart's Mexico and Central America unit Walmex WALMEX.MX, reported on Wednesday a 0.7% drop in its 2026 second-quarter net profit, coming in at 11.15 billion pesos ($637.19 million).

Revenues for the quarter were up 1.9% from the same quarter in 2025 to reach 250.95 billion pesos.

($1 = 17.4986 pesos at end-June)
