Weatherford won two offshore Brazil contracts for well intervention on the Gold Star semisubmersible in the Campos and Espírito Santo Basins from March 2026 through December 2028. The company also secured managed pressure drilling services on the Brava Star drillship in the Búzios Field from Q1 2027 to December 2030.

1. Offshore Well Intervention Contract

Weatherford will expand plug-and-abandonment and workover services on Constellation’s UDW semisubmersible Gold Star operating in the Campos and Espírito Santo Basins, using local teams and infrastructure in Brazil. The March 2026–December 2028 agreement marks the first integrated service model contracted directly through the rig by the end client.

2. Managed Pressure Drilling Award

Under a second contract, Weatherford will supply managed pressure drilling technology, equipment operation, and maintenance on Constellation’s UDW drillship Brava Star in the Búzios Field from Q1 2027 through December 2030. The award reflects client confidence in Weatherford’s safety focus and deepwater drilling track record.

3. Strategic Importance and Delivery

These multi-year awards strengthen Weatherford’s deepwater portfolio and in-country delivery capability in Brazil, leveraging technical expertise and rapid response times to support complex offshore operations. Management expects the contracts to bolster the company’s revenue backlog and reinforce its partnership with Constellation in demanding offshore environments.
