Werewolf Therapeutics sold preclinical INDUCER platform technology to EMD Serono in an asset sale that closed Aug. 14, 2026.
The deal also transfers parts of the INDUKINE platform, excluding the WTX-124 and WTX-330 clinical development programs.
Consideration totals USD 33 million, including USD 28 million upfront and USD 5 million tied to completing the technology transfer.
Development rights and restrictions
An exclusive license from EMD Serono preserves rights needed to continue developing WTX-124 and WTX-330.
A non-compete restricts exploitation of certain transferred IP targeting the same tumor target as transferred compounds for 24 months.
