WeRide’s WRD 3.0 Scores 102.81 Points for Fifth Straight Competition Win
At the China Urban Intelligent Driving Competition, WeRide’s WRD 3.0 powered the Exeed Sterra ES to a fifth consecutive win with 102.81 points, and an SA8650-equipped Aion N60 placed second. WeRide has secured nearly 30 design wins across GAC and Chery and plans global L2++ ADAS rollouts in 2026.
1. Record Fifth Consecutive Competition Win
In the Hefei round of the Second China Urban Intelligent Driving Competition, WeRide’s WRD 3.0-powered Exeed Sterra ES secured first place with 102.81 points, marking the solution’s fifth straight victory. A Qualcomm SA8650-powered GAC Aion N60 entered second, outperforming Momenta- and Huawei-based systems by up to 24.95 points.
2. Technical Progress and Platform Adaptation
Built around a one-stage end-to-end AI architecture, WRD 3.0 leverages the WeRide GENESIS simulation platform for closed-loop data iteration and decision-making consistency. The solution now supports major compute platforms—including NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-X/Y and Qualcomm SA8650—enabling scalable deployment across multiple vehicle programs.
3. Design Wins and Global Expansion
Since early 2026, WeRide has secured nearly 30 design wins across GAC Aion, GAC Trumpchi, Chery Exeed and other brands, spanning models priced from USD 14,000 to USD 44,000. The company is targeting L2++ ADAS rollouts beyond China, with plans for Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
