Werner Enterprises’ Q2 2026 earnings call drew CEO Derek Leathers, CFO Chris Wikoff, and SVP Chris Neil.
- Revenue was $934 million, up 24%.
- Adjusted operating income was $27.6 million, up 67%.
- Adjusted EPS was $0.22.
- Adjusted margin was 3%.
Management flagged tightening capacity from tougher enforcement on CDLs, English proficiency, and cabotage. About one-third of ELD providers exited or lost certification.
FirstFleet integration ran ahead of plan. The company said $3 million of synergies have been realized year to date, actions are in place for $9 million in annual savings, and the $18 million target remains unchanged.
Guidance changes included Dedicated revenue per truck per week now up 3%-5%, average trucks now up 16%-18%, and net capex now $215 million-$250 million.
