Western Alliance reports higher quarterly income and revenue
Western Alliance posted Q2 net income available to common stockholders of $258.5 million, up 13.78% year over year; diluted EPS rose 14.01% to $2.36.
Net revenue climbed 17.71% to $995.7 million, while net interest margin was unchanged at 3.53%.
Provision for credit losses jumped to $80.4 million from $39.9 million a year earlier; annualized net loan charge-offs rose to 0.37% from 0.22%.
Nonperforming loans to funded held-for-investment loans increased to 0.92% from 0.85% at Dec. 31, 2025; total deposits rose 6.1% to $81.9 billion.
Management launched a deposit optimization strategy in Q2 to reduce higher-cost balances, cutting more than $1 billion of higher-cost deposits near quarter-end.
